Born
in Alabama and raised near Chattanooga, TN, Ben spent the
formative years of his life learning to climb on the varied crags and
boulders of the Southeast. With a solid climbing background and a
love of photography, Ben moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 1995 to develop
his photographic skills and gain a degree in Political Science at the
University of Utah. He has spent the last ten years climbing hard,
traveling the world, and shooting photographs in hope of fostering
respect towards wild places and those who dare to live there.
